-Hourly rates/Estimates-
Our hourly rates are seasonal and determined by the scope of your move. Commercial rates differ from residential. Any time over two hours is prorated to the 1/4 hour. -Two hour minimum-
There is a two hour minimum on all intrastate moves under 50 miles. This means that if your move takes two hours to complete, or less than two hours to complete you will be billed for two hours + travel time.
-Travel time-
Travel time at the hourly rate is added to the final bill on all intrastate moves under 50 miles. Travel time is the time it takes for the crew to drive to your first location from our office in Philadelphia and back from your final location when the job is complete. Minimum travel charge is 15min to your first location and 15min from your final location. Travel time is a separate charge and not included in the two hour minimum window.
-Walkup rates-
Fourth floor walkups and above are $15 extra per floor per hour. Street level is the first floor with the exception of a small number of steps to the entrance. A full flight of steps up to the front door of a residence is generally not considered a first floor. If during your move it is determined that a piece of your inventory will not fit into your elevator, the crew will decide if walking the item up is an option. For this service there is an extra charge per floor, per item on a case by case basis.
-Local intrastate moves-
Moves under 50 miles within the state of PA are billed at an hourly rate. There is a two hour minimum and after that charges are prorated to the 1/4 hour. Travel time at the hourly rate is added to the final bill which is the time to get to your first location from our lot in Philadelphia and back from your final location when the job is complete.
-Long distance intrastate moves-
Moves over 50 miles within the state of PA are based on weight and mileage rather than hourly. Pricing is determined using our Pennsylvania tariff rates. When pricing long distance intrastate moves we need to have all details of the move laid out beforehand. -Interstate moves-
Moves that originate in one state and end in another fall under interstate regulations and are based on weight and mileage. Pricing is determined using our interstate tariff rates. When pricing interstate moves we need to have all details of the move laid out beforehand. -Packing service-
Packing services are available at an hourly rate. There is a two hour minimum and travel time added to the final bill. Packing supplies like boxes, tape, mattress bags, bubble wrap, packing paper etc. are available for purchase upon request.
-Overnight Storage-
Overnight storage is available upon request should your move necessitate this service. There is an extra charge added to the final bill per truck, per night.
-Piano moves/Bulky items-
Pianos and bulky items may be moved at our discretion with advanced notice and approval. There is an additional charge added to the final bill for all piano/bulky items and is determined on a case by case basis.
-Hoisting-
Certain items may be hoisted at our discretion with advanced notice and approval. If an unexpected situation arises on your move where it is determined that an item will not fit through a door and needs to be hoisted the crew will see if this is a safe option. There is an additional charge added to the final bill for hoisting and is determined on a case by case basis.
